Worn, aged and distressed effects sit together as one direction: the look of a garment that has been through something. Whether that means a softened, aged surface that reads as years of washing, a distressed collar that carries the marks of long-term wear, or a deliberately destroyed hem that is part of the design — these are all variations of the same idea.
At Factory HOT, we develop worn, aged and distressed effects individually for each project. We work from your reference — an image, a physical piece, or a written brief — and apply the appropriate combination of techniques by hand, area by area, piece by piece. The result is garments with genuine visual character that cannot be replicated by standard production processes.
This direction covers the full range from subtle aging to heavy destruction — and we calibrate the intensity to exactly what your collection needs.
